How to package a YouTube video | 7x views with Thumbnail + Title
When people make YouTube videos, they focus on... well, the VIDEO, and completely disregard the PACKAGING.
Here are two of the same videos side by side and the difference is x7!
The first video is on Enzo Carasso's brand-new YouTube channel. It had no subscribers, no videos. The video has gotten 20k views in the first couple of weeks.
The second video is on Eric Nowoslawski (sorry) on the channel with 100+ videos and 2k subs. This one has gotten 3k views.
Here is what our did to package this video:
1. Thumbnail + Title
Why it's working?
Big - The promise of generating 7k leads.
Easy - Enzo has done it.
New - "You worked for him?"
Safe - The audience knows and trusts Hormozi.
This is called the BENS framework for packaging videos from Ed Lawrence.
2. Introduction.
Enzo's video pitches "BENS" in the very hook of the video. Most importantly, viewers know what they can get out of this video. Yes, "watch till the end" too.
Higher retention -> happy YouTube algo.
3. Trim the fat.
As Hormozi himself says "there is no such a thing as too long, there is only too boring." We trimmed 6 minutes of boring content from the video.

The main takeaway is package your videos! It makes a huge difference.
