We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1) Information we collect
  • Information you provide: name, company, role, email, phone, messages; project details; billing and invoicing information; content you submit (files, briefs).
  • Automatic data: IP address, device and browser info, approximate location, pages viewed, links clicked, time on site, referrer/UTM parameters.
  • Cookies & similar tech: first- and third-party cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs (see “Cookies” below).
  • Marketing preferences: opt-in/opt-out choices and communication history.

We do not intentionally collect data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK).

2) How we use information
  • Provide, operate, and improve our website, services, and customer support.
  • Process inquiries, proposals, contracts, and payments.
  • Analyze site performance and measure campaigns.
  • Personalize and retarget ads (e.g., Reddit, Google, Meta, LinkedIn) where permitted.
  • Send service, transactional, and marketing communications (you can unsubscribe).
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.
3) Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, we process your data on these bases:

  • Contract: to respond to inquiries and deliver services you request.
  • Legitimate interests: to improve our site/services, run safe and effective operations, and market to business contacts where appropriate.
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies/retargeting and certain marketing.
  • Legal obligation: recordkeeping, tax, and compliance.
4) How we share information

We share data with trusted service providers who help us run the business, such as:

  • Hosting and infrastructure; analytics; CRM and email; payment/invoicing; advertising platforms/pixels (e.g., Reddit Ads, Google Analytics/Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
  • These providers may process data on our behalf under contracts that require confidentiality and appropriate security.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, during due diligence or a business transfer, or with your direction/consent. We do not sell your personal information for money. We may “share” (as defined by California law) identifiers and internet activity with ad partners for cross-context behavioral advertising; see Your rights & choices below to opt out.

5) Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies (for security and core functionality) and optional cookies (analytics, performance, advertising/retargeting).

  • Analytics: e.g., Google Analytics to understand site usage.
  • Advertising: e.g., Reddit Pixel, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure and improve campaigns and show relevant ads off-site.

Your choices: On your first visit, you’ll see a cookie banner. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or manage preferences. You can also adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies. Some features may not work without cookies.

6) Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above:

  • Site analytics: typically 26 months unless you delete/opt-out sooner.
  • Client/project records and invoices: kept as required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations (usually 7 years) and for legitimate business needs.
  • We delete or anonymize data when no longer required.
7) Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege). No method is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting you, we’ll notify you as required by law.

8) International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you are in the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers outside your region.

9) Your rights & choices

Email marketing: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email or contact us.

Cookies/ads: use our cookie banner to manage preferences; you can also opt-out of cross-context advertising via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link (California) or industry tools like youradchoices.com (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

Privacy rights by region:

  • EEA/UK: access, correct, delete, restrict, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing; withdraw consent at any time.
  • US (California and similar state laws): know/access, correct, delete, opt-out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, limit use of sensitive data (we don’t use sensitive categories for inferring characteristics).
  • How to exercise: email privacy@representstudio.com with “Privacy Request,” describe your request, and verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where allowed by law.

Appeals & complaints: If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. EEA/UK residents can complain to a supervisory authority (e.g., your local DPA or the ICO in the UK).

10) Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party sites or embedded services. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies.

11) Children’s privacy

We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK). If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version with an updated “Effective date.” Material changes may be highlighted on the site.
