What We Do (And Why You Should Care)

Represent Studio is a video production agency for B2B SaaS and tech startups. We make launch videos, product demos, and YouTube content for companies like Dataiku, Lindy AI, and dozens of Y Combinator startups.
We've produced videos with 5M+ combined views, built YouTube channels from 0 to 15K+ subscribers, and we're doing $100k+/month in revenue - growing 20% month-over-month.
Our mission? Become unavoidable. If you have a software company and ever think about making a video, we want to be everywhere you look. It's a focused niche - not rocket science to dominate, but it takes relentless execution.
Why our clients matter for YOU:
Our clients are tech founders. They're some of the smartest, most demanding buyers on the planet. They're allergic to BS and can smell lazy marketing a mile away.
If you learn how to market to them, you'll be able to market to anyone. This role is an MBA in B2B marketing - paid.

What I love about Represent is the open-mindedness. In client work, that's rare. Whenever we have a crazy idea, want to experiment, or need to push the budget for something that wasn't planned - we get support. Nobody on this team says no. Everyone shows up, everyone suggests a better way. That attitude is what lets us raise the quality of work for clients.

And the way Represent grows is just insane. We started with YouTube, then launches, now testimonials - and it keeps expanding. If this is where we are now, I can only imagine where we'll be in a few years.

The thing that stands out most though: we're the only production I've worked at that asks clients for feedback after delivery. Most places hand over the project and move on. We go back and learn. That's what separates us.

Hi, I'm Anton. I'm a producer at Represent. What I love about working here - two things.

First, how fast time moves here. When I look back at what we're doing two, three months ago, it feels like a year, and I look back at what we've been doing a year ago - oh man, it feels like it's been a century. There's always something new, something interesting, and just genuinely exciting to see what we've been able to accomplish.

Second, there's no ceiling. Literally. I came here as a video editor, and I knew nothing about management, but then there was an opportunity to become something bigger, to manage our post production process. So I took that opportunity, I took the responsibility, and I just rolled with it. Then another chance came. We needed a producer. I had to learn how to talk to clients, how to run a bigger team, how to communicate in ways that I never knew were possible - but it was so worth it.

That's what makes Represent so different. You don't wait for someone to decide that you're ready - you decide, you choose. You just take as much responsibility as you can carry, prove you're worth it, and then take more and more and more, and become bigger and bigger and bigger in any area you want. It's rare to find a place that lets you do that. Here, you can."

Producing is partly operational - planning shoots, holding the timeline, coordinating the team. All of that is real and it’s there. But at Represent it’s so much more than that. I’m the person holding the whole thing together and making sure what we deliver is actually great, not just done on time.

What makes that possible is the trust here. I’m given real creative freedom and the room to make decisions - people want my read on where a project should go, not just my status updates. There’s no micromanagement, no one looking over your shoulder. If I need resources, support, or a second pair of hands, I get them. You’re trusted to own your work, and that changes everything about how it feels to do this job.

The part I love most is how we treat quality. We don’t ship something we’re not proud of just to hit a number. I’d rather have the uncomfortable conversation — move a deadline, push back on a brief, redo a cut - than send mediocre work into the world. And that’s only possible because of the trust underneath it all: flag a problem early and instead of it becoming a crisis, we solve it together.

That’s what producing means to me here - not babysitting a schedule, but owning the result.

Being trusted to hold it all together, keep the bar high, and deliver something the whole team is proud of.

Hey guys, John here. I'm head of copy at Represent, and I would like to share with you guys what it's like to work for this company.

To be honest, I guess the best way to do that is by comparing to other places I've worked at, right? And I've worked at many different companies that are remote as well, but none of them compare to Represent, and the main reason is the team.

The team is very warmhearted, very open. We are like a big family. Whenever something goes wrong, we stick together, make sure that we make up for it. Whenever something goes right, we sit together and we celebrate, and it's that familial feeling that I've not really had anywhere else.
For example, last year we had a great year, and so at the end of year we all came together. It's a very international team as well. So we decided, let's do a mukbang, a mukbang where everyone just brings the weirdest foods or the most unique food from their country, and we just sat there for two hours, just talking about the food and our plans for next year, etc. And it was a lot of fun, and that is it, really. That's like the main vibe, the main thing.

It's a very professional company. We take our work very seriously, but at the same time, because we're a big family, we like to also have fun and enjoy ourselves and look out for each other. And yeah, I can only recommend, and I can't wait to see what we cook up next.

Working at Represent studio feels like the perfect balance between creative freedom and clear structure. I always understand *why* we’re doing a project and how my part of the work affects the final result. That’s very different from my previous studios, where you’d just get a task to ‘assemble a video’ without ever seeing the bigger picture.

One of the biggest differences here is the attitude to quality. We’re not chasing volume just to have nice numbers in a report. We’d rather have an honest conversation with the client, move deadlines, or redo a piece of work than deliver a video we’re ashamed of. As the person who animates and assembles it, I feel like my own professional reputation is protected.

I really value how feedback works inside the team. You can bring a very rough idea and honestly say: ‘I don’t yet understand what’s wrong here’, and instead of being criticized, someone will sit down with you and unpack it. There’s a genuine feeling that everyone is interested in helping you grow as a professional, not just ‘log your hours’.

Career-wise, this is the first place where people seriously talk with me about the future - not only within the role of a motion designer, but also about producing, process management, and client communication.

What makes Represent studio different for me is psychological safety. If something worries me - deadlines, money, expectations - I can message the founder directly and have a normal, open conversation. For creative work that’s critical: you don’t burn out from constantly feeling that ‘something is wrong, but you’re not allowed to say it’.

Projects here are rarely routine. Almost every new video is more challenging than the previous one - either creatively, in terms of animation, or in how we work with the client. It’s hard at times, but you really feel your progress: you look at your work from a year and a half ago and see how far you’ve come.

Working at Representstudio has pushed my skills further in one year than several years at previous studios. The bar for quality is high, but the feedback is specific and constructive, so every project feels like real growth rather than just another deadline.

Compared to my past experience in fast-content studios, Represent studio is all about depth over noise. We still move quickly, but we’re optimizing for clarity, craft, and long-term value, not just filling a posting schedule.
