Closer | Sell Video to the People Building the Future

Overview

We're building the world's best company for growing technology companies with video content. Tech companies are great at building product and bad at showing anyone why it matters. We fix that with video content.
It's working. We've more than doubled year over year, and we're on pace to double again this year. Inbound keeps climbing.
But the founder is still closing a big chunk of them himself, and more good leads come in than he can get to. Deals sit. Momentum leaks. What's slowing us down isn't demand, but his calendar.
That's why we need you. You take the calls, write the proposals, run the follow-up, and close. Marketing feeds you the pipeline. You turn it into revenue. The system works. Now we need a killer closer to run the show.

What we sell

Video that moves metrics for tech companies. Three things, high level:
Launches — the video campaign behind a product launch. This is our core offer and the reason most people find us.
Customer testimonials — real customers on camera explaining why the product works. Proof, not praise.
Educational video — explainers, tutorials, and onboarding content that help companies activate users and shorten sales cycles.
On top of that: retainers for teams that need content shipping continuously, and upsells that grow the account.

Why this is a genuinely great seat

You talk to the smartest people in tech, all day. Our clients are founders and marketing leaders at companies building real technology - consumer apps, dev tools, infrastructure, AI foundation models. These are people who ship hard things and think clearly about growth. You will spend your working hours on 30-minute calls with them, asking how their business actually works. Most salespeople never get access like this.
You will learn faster here than anywhere else. Every discovery call is a free lesson in positioning, go-to-market, and how modern software companies grow. You will absorb more about tech marketing in six months than most people do in three years. We will hand you the playlists, the docs, and the call recordings to get there faster.
The tide is going up. We have more than doubled year over year, and we are on track to double again by end of year. Inbound is climbing, the offer is sharper than it has ever been, and you get to be the person who converts that momentum. Early enough to shape how sales works here. Late enough that the demand already exists.
You will not be handed a broken funnel and told to hustle. The process is documented and it works: a 30-minute discovery call, a proposal within 24 hours, a walkthrough for bigger deals, then contract and invoice.

What you own

An appointment lands on your calendar. From that moment, the deal is yours.
Pre-call nurture — warm them up before you meet
Discovery — 30 minutes to find the real problem, not to pitch the menu
Proposal — out the door within 24 hours, every time
Walkthrough calls — for high-value deals
Follow-up — continuous, value-driven, until it closes or truly dies
The full stack — core offer, retainer, upsells
Clean handoff — the producer team starts with full context, zero re-discovery
Not your job: lead gen, cold appointment setting, marketing campaigns. Someone else owns the top of the funnel.

What we measure

Revenue closed in dollars. That's the number. Close rate is a diagnostic, not the goal.
Close rate
Proposals within 24 hours. Sales emails answered within 4 hours during business hours.

First 45 days

DaysWhat you're doing
1–14Shadow every call. Own follow-ups. Learn the offer, the pricing, the buyer.
15–30Run parts of the pitch with the founder leading.
31–45Run the full call yourself, with backup on the line.
45+It's yours. End to end.

Who this is for

You have closed B2B deals at $5,000+. No B2C. No course sales.
You run full cycle (discovery, proposal, close) without someone holding your hand.
You write well. Most of the deal happens over email after the call.
You are technical enough to keep up with founders, and curious enough to ask the dumb question that turns out to be the smart one.
You are a self-starter who sharpens your own blade. You build your own tools, templates, and systems. You don't ask for a support cast to do your job.
You know your pipeline by heart. If someone asks where a deal is, you answer from memory, who they are, what they want, and why they're stuck.
Video and creative industry knowledge is nice to have. We can teach the category. We cannot teach you how to sell.

Who this is not for

Anyone who sends "just checking in." Every touch carries value or it doesn't go out.
Anyone who uses pressure, fake urgency, or manufactured deadlines. We sell by solving their problem, not ours.
Anyone who needs a manager to keep the pipeline moving.
Anyone who discounts to force a close, or over-promises on scope so delivery pays for it later.

Interview

Our Interview Process

We don’t hire closers from a gut feel after three calls. You’ll sell with us on paid work, with real leads, so both of us know it’s a fit before anyone commits.

Step 1

Application & intake

Fill out the application and send a short Loom (about 3 minutes). Keep it simple and clear. We’re looking at how you communicate and whether you follow the brief.
Step 2

Initial screening

A focused 15–30 minute call with a scorecard. We’ll talk culture fit and basic sales judgment, enough to know if we should invest in a real working trial together.
Step 3

Mini-trial (1–3 days)

A short, paid exercise before the longer trial. Example: review three recorded sales calls and write a one-page diagnosis of what the rep did well and where the deal slipped. You’ll get paid for your time. This is where strong closers usually show up fast.
Step 4

Full trial (2–4 weeks)

You step into live selling: real inbound leads, clear metrics, and weekly check-ins. You’ll see how the offer, buyers, and process actually work, and we’ll see how you run a deal end to end.
Step 5

Go / no-go

We decide with the scorecards and the numbers from your trial, not vibes. If the data says yes, we make the offer. If not, you’ll know why.

What I love about Represent is the open-mindedness. In client work, that's rare. Whenever we have a crazy idea, want to experiment, or need to push the budget for something that wasn't planned - we get support. Nobody on this team says no. Everyone shows up, everyone suggests a better way. That attitude is what lets us raise the quality of work for clients.

And the way Represent grows is just insane. We started with YouTube, then launches, now testimonials - and it keeps expanding. If this is where we are now, I can only imagine where we'll be in a few years.

The thing that stands out most though: we're the only production I've worked at that asks clients for feedback after delivery. Most places hand over the project and move on. We go back and learn. That's what separates us.

Hi, I'm Anton. I'm a producer at Represent. What I love about working here - two things.

First, how fast time moves here. When I look back at what we're doing two, three months ago, it feels like a year, and I look back at what we've been doing a year ago - oh man, it feels like it's been a century. There's always something new, something interesting, and just genuinely exciting to see what we've been able to accomplish.

Second, there's no ceiling. Literally. I came here as a video editor, and I knew nothing about management, but then there was an opportunity to become something bigger, to manage our post production process. So I took that opportunity, I took the responsibility, and I just rolled with it. Then another chance came. We needed a producer. I had to learn how to talk to clients, how to run a bigger team, how to communicate in ways that I never knew were possible - but it was so worth it.

That's what makes Represent so different. You don't wait for someone to decide that you're ready - you decide, you choose. You just take as much responsibility as you can carry, prove you're worth it, and then take more and more and more, and become bigger and bigger and bigger in any area you want. It's rare to find a place that lets you do that. Here, you can."

Producing is partly operational - planning shoots, holding the timeline, coordinating the team. All of that is real and it’s there. But at Represent it’s so much more than that. I’m the person holding the whole thing together and making sure what we deliver is actually great, not just done on time.

What makes that possible is the trust here. I’m given real creative freedom and the room to make decisions - people want my read on where a project should go, not just my status updates. There’s no micromanagement, no one looking over your shoulder. If I need resources, support, or a second pair of hands, I get them. You’re trusted to own your work, and that changes everything about how it feels to do this job.

The part I love most is how we treat quality. We don’t ship something we’re not proud of just to hit a number. I’d rather have the uncomfortable conversation — move a deadline, push back on a brief, redo a cut - than send mediocre work into the world. And that’s only possible because of the trust underneath it all: flag a problem early and instead of it becoming a crisis, we solve it together.

That’s what producing means to me here - not babysitting a schedule, but owning the result.

Being trusted to hold it all together, keep the bar high, and deliver something the whole team is proud of.

Hey guys, John here. I'm head of copy at Represent, and I would like to share with you guys what it's like to work for this company.

To be honest, I guess the best way to do that is by comparing to other places I've worked at, right? And I've worked at many different companies that are remote as well, but none of them compare to Represent, and the main reason is the team.

The team is very warmhearted, very open. We are like a big family. Whenever something goes wrong, we stick together, make sure that we make up for it. Whenever something goes right, we sit together and we celebrate, and it's that familial feeling that I've not really had anywhere else.
For example, last year we had a great year, and so at the end of year we all came together. It's a very international team as well. So we decided, let's do a mukbang, a mukbang where everyone just brings the weirdest foods or the most unique food from their country, and we just sat there for two hours, just talking about the food and our plans for next year, etc. And it was a lot of fun, and that is it, really. That's like the main vibe, the main thing.

It's a very professional company. We take our work very seriously, but at the same time, because we're a big family, we like to also have fun and enjoy ourselves and look out for each other. And yeah, I can only recommend, and I can't wait to see what we cook up next.

Working at Represent studio feels like the perfect balance between creative freedom and clear structure. I always understand *why* we’re doing a project and how my part of the work affects the final result. That’s very different from my previous studios, where you’d just get a task to ‘assemble a video’ without ever seeing the bigger picture.

One of the biggest differences here is the attitude to quality. We’re not chasing volume just to have nice numbers in a report. We’d rather have an honest conversation with the client, move deadlines, or redo a piece of work than deliver a video we’re ashamed of. As the person who animates and assembles it, I feel like my own professional reputation is protected.

I really value how feedback works inside the team. You can bring a very rough idea and honestly say: ‘I don’t yet understand what’s wrong here’, and instead of being criticized, someone will sit down with you and unpack it. There’s a genuine feeling that everyone is interested in helping you grow as a professional, not just ‘log your hours’.

Career-wise, this is the first place where people seriously talk with me about the future - not only within the role of a motion designer, but also about producing, process management, and client communication.

What makes Represent studio different for me is psychological safety. If something worries me - deadlines, money, expectations - I can message the founder directly and have a normal, open conversation. For creative work that’s critical: you don’t burn out from constantly feeling that ‘something is wrong, but you’re not allowed to say it’.

Projects here are rarely routine. Almost every new video is more challenging than the previous one - either creatively, in terms of animation, or in how we work with the client. It’s hard at times, but you really feel your progress: you look at your work from a year and a half ago and see how far you’ve come.

Working at Representstudio has pushed my skills further in one year than several years at previous studios. The bar for quality is high, but the feedback is specific and constructive, so every project feels like real growth rather than just another deadline.

Compared to my past experience in fast-content studios, Represent studio is all about depth over noise. We still move quickly, but we’re optimizing for clarity, craft, and long-term value, not just filling a posting schedule.
