Copywriter
TL;DR: We make videos for startups and need a storyteller who can make enterprise software sound like that red-dress woman from the Matrix. You gotta stop Neo in his tracks with the looks (visual hook), and then say something he’d want to keep listening too (your script).
What We Do
At Represent, we make product launch videos and run YouTube channels for software companies.
I won't lie - software isn't inherently all that exciting for 99% of people. They just want the usual: more, faster, cheaper, automated.
But it can be!
We need a script writer who hates corporate videos and elevator music, because that shit is intellectually lazy and creatively bankrupt.
We want to go 10 layers deep into understanding our audience and product through good old-fashioned research and deep thinking.
While most writers never touched products they're selling, we work with genuinely curios and obsessive people who dive so deep they can explain quantum computing to a 12-year-old.
Our clients are AI founders betting everything on ideas that sound impossible - until they work. Problem is, they're terrible at turning those ideas into stories. And that's exactly why we need you.

The Role
Research & Ideation
- Research video ideas that can actually land well and get views
- Dive deep into software tools until you understand them better than most users
- Find angles and stories that competitors haven't thought of yet
Script Writing & Content Creation
- Write killer video scripts that keep people watching
- Create engaging video titles and descriptions that make people click
- Write hooks that stop people from scrolling in the first 3 seconds
- Master transitions so viewers don't drop off halfway through
Visual Storytelling
- Brainstorm banger thumbnail ideas that stand out in feeds
- Create storyboards that show how scripts should look on screen
- Think about visual hooks beyond just what's being said
Product Deep Dives
- Actually use our clients' software - set up workflows yourself (at least for a few hours)
- Go 10 layers deep into research until you're practically an expert
- Understand audiences well enough to speak their language
